Faximum Client/Server includes the necessary support to handle the Japanese character sets when run under the appropriate version of your operating system.
In order to enable this capability, you need to edit the following files:
/opt/FAXserver/faxfs/config
(Note that the FAXserver directory is not necessarily under /opt.
See Faximum Client/Server Directories for more information.)
Each of these files contains comments indicating the changes that are necessary to support the Japanese character sets.
You will also need to configure your system so that the LANG
environment variable is set appropriately for the language and
character set to be used.
