A Help window stops accepting input

Some of the Faximum dialog windows are modal windows meaning that they don't allow input to previously created windows when they are displayed. Examples of modal windows are the Incoming Fax Routing dialog and the Browse Database dialogs.

This can present a problem if you have a help window open and then bring up one of the modal dialogs. You will not be able to scroll the text or select underlined text in the previously opened Help window.

To solve the problem:

Access the help system through the Help button on the modal dialog.
Or
If the Help window includes instructions that you want to follow in the modal dialog, close the modal dialog and print the Help instructions. Choose Print from the File menu in the Help window. Then open the modal dialog.
