Using the Softwaretiffcattiffcat -o output.tif input1.tif input2.tif ... Tiffcat will concatenate two or more TIFF-F input files into a single multi-page TIFF-F file. tiffcompresstiffcompress -c n -o output.tif input1.tif ... Tiffcompress will concatenate and convert two or more TIFF-F input files into a single TIFF-F file of the specified compression type.
tiffcuttiffcut [-x n] [-y n] [-h n] [-w n] -o outputfile inputfile Tiffcut will cut out an arbitrary rectangle from the TIFF-F input file described by the x and y coordinates and height and width specifications, where n is a distance in pixels/inches/cm (i.e. 20p/1.2i/2cm) tiffhptiffhp [options] inputfile Tiffhp converts a TIFF-F file into a PCL-5 print file suitable for printing on an HP LaserJet printer.
valid paper types: letter, legal, executive, a4, com-10, monarc, c5, dl The defaults for tiffhp are designed to optimise portability, not print quality. For the highest quality on most current HP LaserJet printers use the -200 -c options. tifflstiffls [-s] [-l] [-l] inputfiles Tiffls displays information about the contents of TIFF-F file(s). The -s option provides a short summary of the contents of each file. No option provides a short summary of each image. The -l option provides a detailed list of the TIFF tags for each image. tiffpstiffps [-p preamble] inputfiles Tiffps converts a TIFF-F file into a PostScript Level 1 print file. This utility requires a preamble file that not only contains fixed information needed to initialise the printer but parameters that control the printed output. By default the command looks for the file standard.ps in the current directory but the -p parameter can be used to specify an arbitrary path to the preamble file. The preamble file provided contains comments within it that document the various parameters that can be changed to adapt this utility to various paper sizes and printer capabilities. tiffsplittiffsplit inputfile [filename-prefix] Tiffsplit converts a single multi-page TIFF-F file into multiple single-page TIFF-F files. By default the files are named xaa, xab, etc. but the filename prefix can be changed as shown.
