Sample Tariff

The sample tariff supplied with Faximum is called Sample. The Sample tariff uses rate schedules that are common in the United Sates and Canada. For example, on Monday through Friday the following rates are in effect:

The most expensive rates are the between 7:00 A.M and 5:00 P.M.
Rates are cheaper between 5:00 P.M. and 10:00 P.M.
Rates are cheapest between 10:00 P.M and 7:00 A.M.

To view all of the rates for the Sample tariff, choose Tariff in the Browse Database window, select Sample, and choose Rate Schedule at the bottom of the Data window. In this sample rate schedule, Rate 1 is the cheapest rate, Rate 2 the next expensive and Rate 3 is the most expensive. The numbers supplied in the Rate n Cost fields determine the relative cost of the rates. You can use any numbers as long as they indicate the relative cost per unit time. Rate Costs of 0 are ignored.
