Attaching a Received Fax

To attach a fax file that you have received:

  1. If you have not already done so, choose Browse Received Fax from the Task pulldown menu.
  2. If the Folders area is not displayed, choose Folders from the View pulldown menu.
  3. Select the fax from either your inbox or one of the folders you have created (you cannot forward a fax in General Delivery).
  4. Choose either Forward or Reply with Copy from the Action pulldown menu.
  5. In both case the Compose Outgoing Fax window will appear with the fax added as an attachment in the Attachments File Name list.

If you used Forward, type in the fax number of the person you are sending the fax to. If you have set up aliases, you can use that facility to retrieve the necessary To Information.

If you used Reply with Copy, Faximum will enter the fax number you are replying to in the Fax # field.

If you need to move the fax out of General Delivery before you use Forward or Reply with Copy, see Claim Fax and Route Fax Buttons.

If you have saved the fax as a file in a different directory you can add the file name as an attachment. See Attaching a File.
