Customizing Cover Sheets

A cover sheet is associated with a style. The Fax System Administrator can change, delete, and add cover sheets. Cover sheets reside on the Faximum server in the directory /opt/FAXserver/coversheet.

Faximum supplies several sample cover sheets in this directory.

Cover sheet files contain ASCII text. The text consists of instructions in a coversheet description language interpreted by asciitiff.

There are four basic techniques for customizing cover sheets:

1. Run the cover sheet customization script.
2. Put a TIFF image on a sample cover sheet.
3. Edit one of the sample cover sheet files.
4. Create a new cover sheet file and a new style.
